week 11 assignment 2

Read alouds are a foundation for students literacy development. It allows students to hear fluent reading. It gives the students an opportunity to be engaged to the story and motivates them to continue reading. Read alouds expose to students to more complex reading and new vocabulary words. It is important to take time to think about which book we are going to choose to read to our students. Read alouds have many benefits and I am excited to implement that strategy into my classroom.
